SEAN ‘Diddy’ COMBS FALL FROM GRACE
FACING THE DOJ USUALLY RESULTS IN SOME PRISON.
ONE HOPES HIS LAWYERS ARE THERE TO PROVIDE HONEST AND POSSIBLY DIFFICULT TRUTHS.
SO FAR COUNSEL APPEARS TO BE DEFENDING HIS ACTIONS (i.e., SELLING OFF ASSETS, SURRENDERING TO THE COURT), WHICH IS THEIR JOB, BUT IN THE END IS MEANINGLESS.
The Alleged Conduct Occurred Over More Than a Decade in Multiple States.
To start, going from a world of luxury, freedom, and your bed to solitary confinement in prison, especially MDC Brooklyn with its history, could humble the best of us. You are on another planet, with handcuffs, shackles, and the lack of the sky suddenly having a new meaning. No fancy meals, maybe molded baloney sandwiches. Standing for the count to washing dishes or toilets, he will either be a hero or a zero.
I am confident he can afford a great legal team. Still, a N.Y. Park Ave. Address Law Firm can’t guarantee a great criminal defense firm, especially with a client still holding onto that feeling of entitlement. While money can’t buy you a great defense team (it can help) or freedom, this is demonstrated as both of counsels requests for bail (bond) and the supporting reasons for their requests being rejected by both courts.
At some point, he may realize that like the dog who caught the car – he’s got a problem because the DOJ has a conviction rate approaching 98%. Facing several life sentences, the DOJ has demonstrated in their Indictments of Elizabeth Holmes, SBF, Madoff, and Jeffrey Epstein, they have deep financial pockets to get most of the convictions they’re after.
My Caveot: Just thinking you’re innocent is not enough, but after a clear strategic conversation with your attorney where you understand what happens if you lose, I have only one recommendation.
⇐ Federal Judge Mark Bennett
-
Do not Anger the court, do not do anything Illegal, don’t intimidate witnesses, or anything else because you’ll need the good graces of that same Judge when you return for sentencing, this time with your heartfelt Personal Narrative.
Why did the DOJ strongly want him not to have bail?
After being notified he was a Target, he continued his actions. Not a great first impression with the court.
I. Sean Combs Charged In Manhattan Federal Court With Sex Trafficking And Other Federal Offenses
They’re Not Prosecuting any alleged Sexual Abuse of Women.
They are Prosecuting the actual charges of Racketeering Conspiracy, Sex Trafficking and Transporting Individuals Over State Lines to engage in Prostitution. Criminal defense attorney Stacy Schneider
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said: “As alleged in the Indictment, for years, Sean Combs used the business empire he controlled to sexually abuse and exploit women, as well as to commit other acts of violence and obstruction of justice. Today, he is charged with racketeering and sex trafficking offenses.
If you have been a victim of Combs’ alleged abuse – or if you know anything about his alleged crimes – we urge you to come forward. This investigation is far from over.”

The Government Respectfully submits this letter In Advance To Deny The Bail Appeal By Defendant Sean Combs,
Mr. Sean Combs formally requests their (1st) release request from custody on the proposed bail package below...
- On Wednesday, Sean Combs’ lawyers argued again in federal court that he should be freed pending trial.
- But prosecutors quoted the alleged victims in alleging he tries to threaten and control witnesses.
- The judge said that Combs could send “coded messages” to obstruct justice.
The judge ordered Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to go to jail until trial after rejecting (the 2nd bail request of) a $50 million bond package.
- A judge ruled that Sean “Diddy” Combs be jailed ahead of his criminal trial.
- Prosecutors argued his vast wealth and network could help him flee if he wanted to.
- He’s tried to bribe security and tamper with witnesses in the past, prosecutors say.
US District Judge Andrew Carter, presiding over the music mogul’s criminal trial, emphasized federal prosecutors’ description of Combs’ persistent and continuing attempts to intimidate witnesses and obstruct justice, reportedly involving acts of violence.
- “That video (Above) is quite disturbing,” the judge said at one point, referring to security footage showing Combs beating his then-partner, R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, in a hotel hallway in 2016. Ventura is the main victim identified in the indictment.
II. Inside the Brooklyn federal jail where Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is locked up: Violence, squalor and death
The Bureau of Prisons opened MDC Brooklyn as a jail in the early 1990s. It is primarily used to detain individuals after arrest while awaiting trial in federal courts in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Additionally, it houses inmates serving short sentences following convictions.
- In June, 37-year-old Uriel Whyte was fatally stabbed at the jail. A month later, 36-year-old Edwin Cordero succumbed to injuries sustained in a brawl. Over the past three years, at least four detainees at the jail have died by suicide. According to Cordero’s lawyer, Andrew Dalack, his client fell victim to the deplorable conditions of an overcrowded, understaffed, and neglected federal jail, which he described as “hell on earth.”
Judges and advocates have taken notice, criticizing the Bureau of Prisons for “dangerous, barbaric conditions” and urging the agency to make improvements. Some judges have stopped sending defendants to MDC Brooklyn or have given reduced sentences because of the conditions there.
Federal Judge Furman
Federal Judge G, Brown
- In August, Judge Gary Brown planned to change a 75-year-old defendant’s sentence for tax fraud to home confinement if transferred to MDC Brooklyn. The Bureau of Prisons then paused transferring convicted individuals to the jail. Currently, 43 people are serving sentences in a minimum-security unit at the prison.
Combs is the most recent celebrity inmate to be housed at MDC Brooklyn, joining a list that includes Maxwell, Kelly, Bankman-Fried, and the rapper Fetty Wap. Other notable detainees have included Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli, NXIVM sex cult founder Keith Raniere, former Mexican government official Genaro Garcia Luna, and ex-Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado.
III) Assumptions: Something You Never Want To Do.
- When you choose to surrender, you will be granted bail and fitted with an ankle bracelet equipped with GPS. This is an impossible promise, guarantee, or assurance for anyone, regardless of who you are.
- Your attorneys should avoid making promises or giving false assurances. Their role is to provide honest and potentially difficult truths, not to simply agree with you. This is crucial because predicting a judge’s decision is highly uncertain.
- What Counsel Does Know;
-
- The DOJ has a Conviction Rate approaching 98% of those they Indict.
- Judges, particularly in this instance, are inherently doubtful of any path, Plea or Trial “Ditty” may take.
- Judges understand that crimes do not occur in a vacuum. Therefore, Sean Combs must accept responsibility and demonstrate genuine remorse for the harm he has caused to his victims.
- The challenge for his counsel is that this may not be part of his current Psyche, which leaves four areas that I, a Non-attorney, feel should be addressed first.
“1”
Federal Judge Patrick J. Schiltz
“2”
Federal Judge Robert N. Scola
“3”
This leaves counsel to see if “Ditty” is willing to agree to a Specific Type of Comprehensive Medical —”Psyc.” evaluation.
At minimum, would he be willing to speak with those involved to see if he would be willing to “let them help him?”
If he agrees, I have one in mind.
“4”
TWO STRATEGIC CHOICES: PLEA or TRIAL
WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE?
THEN START
PREPARING FOR SENTENCING: Federal Judge RobertN. Scola,
THEN BE GREATEFUL, IF ITS NOT NEEDED.
